Applications are now open for the Global Youth Water Envoys Program (GYWEP) 2026, a fully funded international leadership initiative that will prepare 100 young leaders from around the world to contribute to global water governance and participate in the 2026 UN Water Conference in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

The programme is led by the Arab Youth Center (AYC) in strategic partnership with the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs, with support from the Children's Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF) and collaboration with the Green Africa Youth Organisation (GAYO) and WaterAid. It aims to strengthen youth leadership and ensure meaningful youth participation in advancing Sustainable Development Goal 6 (SDG 6) on clean water and sanitation.

Selected participants will receive training, mentorship, and opportunities to engage directly with policymakers, government representatives, international organizations, and experts during the UN Water Conference, which will take place from 8–10 December 2026 in Abu Dhabi.
