Salzburg Global Seminar, an independent non-profit organization established in 1947, is dedicated to empowering current and future leaders to shape a more positive world. Salzburg Global Seminar brings together exceptional individuals from diverse backgrounds to stimulate fresh ideas and actions, connecting local innovators with global resources and fostering enduring networks and partnerships to drive creative, just, and sustainable transformations.

Interns at Salzburg Global Seminar are selected from around the world through a highly competitive process. They offer a range of three-month internship positions (non-accredited) that not only allow interns to enhance their skills and knowledge but also provide access to Salzburg Global Fellows, a remarkable network of individuals dedicated to positive change. Applications for their 2024 Internship Program are now open.

Available Internship Positions:

1. Communication Internship: Salzburg Global Seminar is seeking a recent university graduate with journalistic writing experience, passionate about creating features, stories, and multimedia content to showcase the impact of their programs. This role is part of a dynamic Public Affairs Team.

2. Development Internship: Salzburg Global is looking for an intern in their Salzburg office to assist with background research, concept notes, proposals, reports, and administrative support for their programs.

3. Library Internship: Salzburg Global Seminar is in search of a proactive library studies graduate to support the creation of institutional archives, manage their private library, and assist with programs. This unique opportunity involves transforming digital documents into a usable archive and serving as the point of contact for their private collection.

4. Program Internship: Salzburg Global Seminar is seeking self-motivated interns to assist with program research, administration, delivery, and writing/editing at their headquarters in Schloss Leopoldskron, Salzburg, Austria.

5. Hong Kong Universities Internship: Salzburg Global Seminar invites students from universities in Hong Kong, whether about to enter, currently enrolled, or recent graduates, to apply for the Summer 2024 Internship Program.

While these internships are unpaid, Salzburg Global Seminar provides the following benefits:

- Travel to and from the intern's home country.
- Insurance coverage.
- Visa processing assistance.
- Exceptional networking opportunities with international program participants.

Eligibility:

While undergraduates who have completed at least three years of accredited study may apply, preference is given to recent college graduates or those in the early stages of graduate studies whose interests and skills align with Salzburg Global's programs and activities.

Undergraduates working toward a bachelor's degree with a strong interest in one of Salzburg Global's program areas may apply for either the Program Internship or the Development Internship.

The Communications Team and Library Internships are only open to applicants with an undergraduate or graduate degree in relevant fields.

A good command of the English language is essential for an internship at Salzburg Global, given that English is the organization's working language. Proficiency in writing and communication in English is a fundamental requirement.
