FULLY FUNDED TO CAPE TOWN, SOUTH AFRICA: Apply for the Allianz CE MoveNow Scholarship 2026 for young changemakers in Central Europe

Applications are now open for the Allianz CE MoveNow Scholarship 2026, an exciting opportunity designed to empower young leaders across Central and Eastern Europe who are passionate about shaping the future of finance and society. This fully funded programme targets individuals aged 18 to 30 with academic backgrounds in fields such as finance, business, economics, mathematics, statistics, and technology. It is especially suited for those who are driven by issues like financial inclusion, sustainable finance, and building resilient economic systems, and who are eager to play a meaningful role in addressing these challenges.

In a region experiencing rapid financial transformation, many young people still face limited access to financial knowledge and opportunities. This scholarship aims to bridge that gap by supporting talented individuals who demonstrate strong academic performance, critical thinking, and a clear vision for impact. Applicants should show a deep understanding of both local and global financial challenges and present innovative ideas that can contribute to long-term societal progress. Particular consideration is given to candidates who have overcome financial or structural barriers and have not yet had significant international exposure but show strong potential to thrive in global platforms.

Through this programme, 13 selected scholars will attend the One Young World Summit 2026, taking place in Cape Town, South Africa from 3 to 6 November. This global gathering will provide participants with access to world-class leadership training, diverse perspectives, and a powerful international network of changemakers. Beyond the summit, scholars will benefit from continued engagement through leadership programmes, mentorship opportunities with Allianz professionals, and lifelong membership in a global community committed to driving positive change.

Eligible applicants must either be nationals of or currently living and contributing to countries including Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania, and Slovakia. Candidates should demonstrate curiosity, initiative, and a commitment to personal and professional growth, alongside a proven record of excellence in their field. The programme values diversity and inclusivity and welcomes individuals from various backgrounds who are ready to bring fresh perspectives and impactful ideas to the table.

Selected participants will receive comprehensive support, including return flights to Cape Town, private accommodation, meals throughout the programme, and transportation between the airport and hotel. In addition, they will gain access to exclusive networking sessions, a structured onboarding experience, and opportunities to connect directly with Allianz mentors and professionals before the summit begins.

If you are a motivated young leader ready to contribute to the transformation of financial systems and make a lasting impact in your community and beyond, this is your chance to step onto a global stage. The application window opened on 7 April 2026 and will close on 18 May 2026.
