Applications are now open for the One Young World Leading Scholarship 2026, an opportunity for young leaders who are driving meaningful change and contributing to a more sustainable and inclusive future. The scholarship is designed to support exceptional young changemakers, particularly those from countries and communities that remain underrepresented in global decision-making spaces.

Successful applicants will receive the opportunity to attend the One Young World Summit 2026, which will take place in Cape Town, South Africa, from 3–6 November 2026. The Summit will bring together young leaders from around the world, providing scholars with opportunities to connect with fellow changemakers, exchange ideas, build international networks and explore solutions to some of the world’s most pressing challenges.

Applicants should be between 18 and 35 years old and demonstrate a strong commitment to creating positive change. They should be actively working to address significant local and/or global challenges and have a track record of developing impactful and innovative ideas or initiatives. Applicants must be at least 18 years old at the time of the Summit.

The application deadline is 31 October 2026.
