Additional Information
If you are applying for general scholars, you must be under 45 years old.
Applying for senior scholar status requires you to be under 50 years old.
be enrolled full-time in classes at CSC's international partner universities or working as a full-time academic staff member there for the duration of their intended stay in China at the time of application.
have gotten a letter of invitation or an admissions notice from the Chinese host university.
2. To complete the CSC online application and upload supporting documents, applicants need connect into the Chinese Government Scholarship Information System (https://studyinchina.csc.edu.cn/#/login). Please see Appendix 3 for the instructions on how to apply online.
3. Chinese host universities will handle the application.
4. There are four deadlines for Chinese host universities to submit scholarship candidates to the CSC: April 15, 2024; July 15, 2024; October 15, 2024; and January 15, 2025.
5. The four proposed dates for this call are May 15, 2024; August 15, 2024; November 15, 2024; and February 15, 2025, when the CSC will deliver the scholarship admission results to Chinese host colleges.
6. Applicants will be notified by Chinese host colleges of the scholarship admission outcomes.
