Applications are now open for the Climate Catalysts Mentorship Programme 3.0, an initiative designed to empower young people who are passionate about climate action. The programme is jointly organized by the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) through its Youth4Capacity programme and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) under the Youth4Climate initiative, supported by the Italian Ministry of Environment and Energy Security.

This mentorship programme aims to strengthen the skills and capacity of youth who want to drive climate solutions within their communities and beyond. Participants will gain knowledge, mentorship, and networking opportunities with experts and fellow young climate advocates from around the world.

The programme features three interactive online bootcamps, each focusing on essential skills for climate leadership and impact. These include project design and development, strategies for building and mobilizing movements, and cultivating entrepreneurial thinking for climate innovation.

Over the course of one month, participants will attend several sessions within each thematic area. In addition to the bootcamps, participants will engage with peers through a specially designed online platform and participate in Virtual Climate Cafés, which encourage discussion, collaboration, and knowledge sharing.

Those selected for the programme will join a global community of youth leaders committed to tackling climate challenges. Through the mentorship sessions, participants will strengthen their abilities in project management, leadership, communication, resource mobilization, and inclusive activism.

The programme also offers outstanding participants a unique opportunity to attend the United Nations Climate Change Conference COP31, where they may present their climate project or solution to an international audience.

Participants who successfully complete the programme will receive a certificate of participation, recognizing their engagement and commitment to climate action.
