Applications are now open for the 2024 Dag Hammarskjöld Journalism Fellowships. If you're a journalist from developing countries in Africa, Asia, Latin America, the Caribbean, or Oceania, you can apply. The fellowship allows journalists to cover the 79th United Nations General Assembly for about 10 weeks. You should be interested in global affairs and the UN's work. Both full-time and freelance journalists can apply.

Selected journalists will learn about the UN's work by attending sessions, press conferences, and interviews. They'll get to interact with journalists from all over the world and understand the challenges journalism faces in different countries.

- The Fund will pay for all travel expenses.
- Fellowship recipients will get furnished studio apartments near the United Nations.
