FULLY FUNDED TO GERMANY : Apply for the DAAD Re-Invitation Programme 2027 in Germany 

Applications are now open for the DAAD Re-Invitation Programme 2027, a fully funded opportunity that enables former DAAD scholarship recipients to return to Germany for short-term research, academic collaboration, or professional development projects.

Funded by the German Federal Foreign Office, the programme aims to strengthen international academic cooperation while supporting the global DAAD alumni network.

The programme offers selected participants the opportunity to spend one to three months at a state-recognized university, non-university research institute, or other eligible host institution in Germany. Eligible Activities

Funding is available for:

Eligibility Criteria
- Be former DAAD scholarship holders whose previous DAAD funding lasted more than six months and was financed by the German Federal Foreign Office or a co-funded programme.

- Or be former recipients of scholarships from the former German Democratic Republic (GDR) who studied in Germany for at least one year.

- Obtain an invitation or acceptance letter from a German host institution before submitting the application.

- Not have resided in Germany during the previous three years.

- Meet any additional country-specific requirements outlined by DAAD.

- The programme welcomes eligible applicants from all nationalities who satisfy the admission requirements.
