The dsm‑firmenich Progress Foundation is now accepting applications for its 2025 scholarship, aimed at supporting young entrepreneurs who are driving meaningful change in their communities. Applicants should be between 18 and 30 years old at the time of the One Young World Summit in 2025—though exceptional candidates over 30 may be considered if they can demonstrate significant impact, initiative, and commitment. Those under 18 at the time of the Summit are not eligible. Candidates must reside in Africa, the Asia‑Pacific region, or Latin America and have accumulated three to five years of entrepreneurial experience, ideally through running their own venture. Their work should focus on one of the foundation’s key areas: safeguarding and rehabilitating ecosystems, combating malnutrition, or bolstering community resilience. Preference will be given to individuals who have had limited opportunities for exposure on national or international stages.

Successful applicants will be invited to join the One Young World Summit in Munich, Germany, from October 31 to November 8, 2025. All travel arrangements, including economy‑class flights and local ground transportation, will be covered, as will hotel accommodation and meals throughout the conference days. In addition to the main Summit programme, scholars will participate in a pre‑Summit event in Munich and have the chance to engage with the dsm‑firmenich delegation throughout the week. This scholarship offers a unique opportunity for young changemakers to connect with a global network, share their experiences, and amplify their impact.
