The Ban Ki-moon Centre for Global Citizens (BKMC), with support from Dubai Cares and in collaboration with Plan International and Unbounded Associates, is pleased to announce the launch of the second edition of its action-oriented initiative—Your Future in Green Jobs Mentorship Program.
Targeted at youth aged 14 to 20, the program builds upon the Your Future in Green Jobs Online Course, helping participants connect their interests, passions, and skills to meaningful career paths in the green economy.
Selected participants will benefit from interactive online workshops, receive personalized mentorship from professionals in the green sector, and bring their learning to life through the design and implementation of their own SDG Micro-Project. These community-based projects will contribute to one or more Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), promoting local sustainability and resilience.
Programme Timeline:
- May 2025: Selected applicants announced and onboarded
- June 2025: Virtual Kick-off Ceremony
- June – August 2025: Live expert-led online workshops
- July – December 2025: Independent SDG Micro-Project implementation with continuous mentorship and BKMC support
- December 2025: Virtual Graduation Ceremony
Live workshops will be conducted online from 14:00 to 16:00 CEST, so applicants should be available during this time in their respective time zones.

Solid English communication skills (upper-intermediate proficiency)
Consistent access to a stable internet connection
Ability to participate in live online sessions during designated times
