Applications are now open for the second round of the COY21 Youth Delegate Application, inviting young people who have secured funding or are able to attend the 21st Conference of Youth (COY21) on a self-funded basis to apply for a place in the official youth delegation.

The second application round is intended for young people who may not have had confirmed funding when the first round was launched but have since secured the necessary financial support to participate, as well as those who are now able to independently meet the costs of attending COY21.

The organisers are looking for young people actively involved in climate action, youth leadership, policy advocacy, climate justice, grassroots organising and related areas. Applicants should be able to bring meaningful perspectives from their communities and demonstrate a willingness to contribute to youth engagement and activities leading up to, during and following COY21.

Selected delegates will have an opportunity to participate in the Conference of Youth and engage with other young climate leaders and advocates around key issues affecting young people and communities. The programme is particularly suited to applicants who want to strengthen their participation in climate policy discussions and contribute to collective youth action.

Please note that COY21 will not provide funding for delegates selected through this round. Applicants are responsible for covering their own travel to Antalya, Türkiye, as well as accommodation, meals, visa-related expenses and any other costs associated with participation. Applicants should therefore only submit an application if they already have confirmed funding or are in a position to fully self-fund their participation.

Interested young people who meet these requirements are encouraged to submit their applications for consideration in the second round.
