Fully Funded to Germany : Apply for the IEG Fellowship 2024
The Leibniz Research Alliance "Value of the Past" is inviting applications for nine Leibniz Fellowships to research the values societies attach to the past. These fellowships offer a month-long opportunity to study the alliance's research field at participating institutes and museums. The alliance aims to understand the relevance of the past and its changeable historicity during political upheavals and crises.
Fellowships are available from the Leibniz Research Alliance to assist with academic work at three Research Hubs and related Research Labs. These hubs centre on "Spatiotemporal Paradigms," "Regimes of Evidence," and "Past as a Public Resource." Museums, educational institutions, historical societies, and centres for spatial study are all members of the partnership.
The stipend may be used for research, project development, archive research, or book writing by fellowship holders. It is anticipated of them to post on the "Value of the Past" blog.
The deadline for applications is April 30, 2024. Mid-May 2024 will see the announcement of decisions. By July 2025, the fellowships must be accepted.
