Fully Funded to Germany : Check out The Georg Arnhold Senior Fellowship 2025

The Georg Arnhold Senior Fellow for Education for Sustainable Peace for 2025 Call for Applications is now open, thanks to the Leibniz Institute for Educational Media | Georg Eckert Institute (GEI).

With an emphasis on instructional media and curricula at the secondary school level in post-conflict or transitional cultures, the fellowship seeks to advance education for sustainable peace. Its main goals are to close the knowledge gap between theory and practice, promote cross-border scholarly collaboration, and convert research results into actionable advice for conflict resolution practitioners, thereby assisting in the development of civil society's capacity. Therefore, it would be ideal for the fellowship holder's work to produce policy papers, research papers, instructional materials, or a larger publication.

The fellowship provides exceptional and seasoned professionals in the field with the chance to concentrate on a research- or practice-related project in the field of education for sustainable peace, preferably with a focus on educational media, and to discuss their work with other scholars and practitioners within the GEI's network. The fellowship includes a six-month research stay at the Leibniz Institute for Educational Media | Georg Eckert Institute (GEI) in Brunswick, Germany.

Candidates must have exceptional English language proficiency and a track record of professional accomplishment in their sector.

With an emphasis on curriculum creation, transformation societies, and educational media, the Georg Arnhold Senior Fellow will concentrate on sustainable peace education. They will create the yearly conference and provide a research colloquium presentation at the GEI. One year following the fellowship's ending, the Fellow will publish the results of their work at the Leibniz Institute for Educational Media in Brunswick, Germany. Obtaining a passport, visa, and health insurance is required of applicants. In addition to collaboration with other utilities, the recognition programme offers visibility and acknowledgment. Financial incentives will be given to six delegates from leading utilities in low-, lower-, and upper-income nations.
