FULLY FUNDED TO IRELAND : Apply for the Casement Fellowship in Human Rights

Early- to mid-career professionals from qualifying nations who exhibit leadership potential can take advantage of the Ireland Fellows Programme, which offers a prestigious, top-notch education that enhances capacity building.

Every year, in August or September, master's level studies that meet the requirements begin. Depending on the programme, these sessions last anywhere from 10 to 16 months.

Gender equality, equal opportunity, and diversity are all encouraged by the Ireland Fellows Programme. Aiming to develop inclusive, responsible, and effective institutions at all levels, Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 16 is in line with our Development Policy, and applications from as wide a base as feasible are encouraged. Applicants with impairments and those from underrepresented or underprivileged groups are encouraged to apply to the programme. Girls and applicants whose gender identity does not fit within the male/female dichotomy should be more represented, as would be our goal.

The Program's objectives are to cultivate future leaders, increase domestic ability to meet national SDG targets, and forge constructive ties with Ireland.

The goal of the programme is to provide graduates with the skills they need to help create capacity in their home countries and become the next generation of leaders in their chosen industries when they return home. Additionally, it is hoped that they will strengthen institutional ties and foster long-lasting, good personal and professional ties with Ireland.

Before completing, please carefully read the Applicants Guidance Note as eligibility requirements may vary by country.

Three steps make up the application process:

Phase 1: Initial Request; Phase 2: Comprehensive Request; Phase 3: Interviews.
All applicants who are shortlisted following the interview stage will have to retake the English language test, usually the IELTS exam, unless they already have an IELTS certificate, dated 2023 or later, attesting to their achievement of the minimum score required for the course(s) they wish to apply to. Even for natural English speakers, it is highly recommended to prepare for the IELTS exam in advance.
