The 2024 Youth Business International (YBI) BootCamp is currently accepting applications. A five-day bootcamp in London, UK this June offers a special chance to work with peers from around the world, learn from impact entrepreneurship experts, and perhaps be shortlisted for the Global Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award.

The five-day Bootcamp will be held in London in June 2024 and is open to young entrepreneurs who are sponsored by YBI members. Applications are free and all costs are covered. Building international business relationships and providing transformative learning experiences will be its main goals. Along with networking with peers and business leaders to create enduring supporting relationships, the 30 participants will learn from and exchange ideas with experts, hone their pitching abilities, master effective leadership, and cultivate an entrepreneurial development mentality.

The Global Young Entrepreneur of the Year Awards, which offer cash awards and the opportunity to be shortlisted in three categories—

Social entrepreneurship

Entrepreneurs leading a business with the primary goal of addressing and solving societal challenges, e.g. poverty, inequality, education, and healthcare.

Climate entrepreneurship

Entrepreneurs leading a business with the primary goal of combatting climate change and its associated challenges, working in areas such as energy efficiency, carbon capture, waste management, sustainable agriculture, water resource management, climate adaptation, etc.

Sustainable entrepreneurship

Entrepreneurs leading a business which integrates economic, social and environmental considerations into its core operations and decision-making.

An online networking tool will be available to the 21 young entrepreneurs who are still on the shortlist so they may encourage and assist one another through sharing their triumphs and struggles.

The award winners will be determined by three rounds of voting.
Nine finalists will be chosen at the Bootcamp based on pitch judges.
To assist in choosing the winner, public voting will begin in July.
Prior to the Global Youth Entrepreneurship Summit, there will be another pitching session where the winners will be declared.
