Applications have officially opened for the Media Scholarship program to attend the Women Deliver 2026 Conference (WD2026). Scheduled to run from 27–30 April 2026 in Narrm (Melbourne), Australia, this global gathering will spotlight the voices, expertise, and lived experiences of feminists, Indigenous leaders, and advocates from the Pacific region and beyond.

The Media Scholarship initiative is designed to support journalists and content creators from around the world, particularly those who may lack the resources to participate and cover the event on their own. Eligible candidates include professionals working in newsrooms such as reporters, editors, producers, anchors, photojournalists, videographers, and radio or podcast journalists. Freelancers with confirmed assignments, as well as independent content creators who consistently produce accurate reporting on social issues, are also encouraged to apply.

The selection process will emphasize applicants who have demonstrated commitment to themes such as gender equality, public health, human rights, climate action, international development, or issues affecting the Oceanic Pacific. Special attention will also be given to First Nations and Indigenous voices, members of marginalized groups including LGBTQIA+ people, individuals with disabilities, displaced persons, refugees, and those from under-resourced communities. Early-career professionals and those who have never benefited from a Women Deliver scholarship before will also receive priority consideration.

Successful applicants will be fully supported to attend the conference. Coverage includes conference registration, accommodation in Melbourne from 26 to 30 April 2026, roundtrip economy-class flights, visa costs, daily allowances for meals and local travel, as well as comprehensive travel insurance.
