Fully funded to New York City : Be part of the Trinity Leadership Fellows Program – Apply now

The Trinity Leadership Fellows Program, which aims to connect, inspire, and educate up-and-coming religious, professional, and community leaders who want to change the world, is currently accepting applications.

Participants in this two-year fellowship build their leadership skills, learn from subject-matter experts, and form lifelong relationships with mentors and peers. They graduate from the program equipped with the knowledge and abilities needed to close gaps, fight injustice, and strengthen their communities.

This fully funded, non-residential program is open to clergy and lay members of all faiths and religious traditions. The next cohort will get together in person at Trinity Church in New York City in September 2025. During their first year, fellows take online courses to refine the core competencies needed for effective leadership. The second year of the fellowship is dedicated to the implementation of action projects.

Program Benefits
participation in two week-long events (transport, which includes hotel, economy airfare to and from the event, and certain meals during the activities) while you are a fellow
The remuneration for fellows is $5,000 USD.
Up to $3,000 is given to fellows so they can enrol in extra courses at the university, college, or seminary of their choice in addition to the required coursework.
50% of the salary and essential benefits of Episcopalian fellows who are eligible for curacy funding will be paid directly to their parish or diocese.

Eligibility Criteria
- A Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent is required.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is necessary.
- Reliable internet access must be maintained throughout the year.
- Applicants must be available to travel to New York City from September 14–19, 2025, and manage any necessary visas and travel arrangements.

In addition to these qualifications, applicants should demonstrate the following traits with specific examples from their careers or ministries to succeed in the selection process:

- Active engagement in faith practices.
- A track record of achieving goals that benefit their community and the greater good, showing a commitment to causes beyond personal interest.
- Well-defined goals they wish to pursue during the fellowship.
- A natural inclination to foster relationships and engage with others.
- Experience in working with teams to inspire and guide them toward a common goal.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills.
- An entrepreneurial mindset, with proven ability to think creatively and solve problems.
- The ability to balance both long-term and short-term perspectives, seeing both the broader picture and the finer details.
- A willingness to make sacrifices and endure discomfort to reach goals.
- The ability to balance personal ambition with receptiveness to feedback and constructive criticism.
