The Global Leadership Program, a recent initiative by AKFC, is designed to equip Canadian professionals with the insight, skills, and innovative thinking needed to help shape a better future.

Recognizing that everyone has a role in building a world where all can thrive, this program convenes a diverse cohort of mid-career professionals from various sectors and regions across Canada. Together, they explore the forces driving societal change and build connections with others who share a commitment to fostering a more inclusive, peaceful, and prosperous global community.

Participants collaborate to examine both international and domestic issues, reflecting on Canada’s global role and considering how they, as professionals, can contribute to meaningful change.

The program covers all expenses related to travel, accommodation, and meals during the in-person seminar in Ottawa.

About the Program

Structure:
The Global Leadership Program offers a blended format, combining online learning modules, virtual engagement sessions, and a four-day immersive, in-person seminar held in Ottawa. An optional international learning experience may also be offered to selected participants.

Learning Experience:
Participants engage in dynamic sessions led by seasoned thought leaders and practitioners, focusing on critical aspects of global leadership. The curriculum features case studies, group projects, peer exchanges, guided reflection, simulations, and coaching—fostering both individual and collective growth.
