Applications are now open for the 2026 Regent Global–Pankaj Award to End Conflict, an international initiative designed to recognize and support young leaders working to address the root causes of conflict and promote unity within divided communities worldwide.
The award seeks individuals whose initiatives contribute to peacebuilding, social cohesion, and sustainable conflict prevention. Selected finalists will receive financial support and a fully funded opportunity to participate in the One Young World Summit 2026 in Cape Town, South Africa.
About the Award
The Regent Global–Pankaj Award was established to elevate young changemakers who are actively reducing conflict, strengthening dialogue, and building resilient communities.
Through this programme, ten outstanding young leaders will be selected as finalists based on demonstrated impact in peacebuilding and conflict resolution efforts.
An independent expert panel will later select one overall award recipient during the Global Unity Dinner hosted by Regent Global.
Focus Areas
Eligible initiatives may include:
- Preventing or resolving conflict at community, national, or regional levels
- Promoting dialogue, education, and mutual understanding between groups
- Reducing violence and preventing escalation of tensions
- Protecting marginalized or vulnerable populations
- Developing sustainable peacebuilding models that prevent recurring conflict
Assessment Criteria
Applications will be evaluated based on:
- Proven impact in addressing or preventing conflict
- Clear plan for scaling or strengthening existing initiatives
- Collaboration with affected communities
- Long-term sustainability of proposed solutions
Selection Timeline
- Round 1 Applications: 11 April – 15 June 2026
- Round 2 Selection: 28 June – 3 July 2026
- Final Award Decision: August 2026
- Award Presentation: 3–6 November 2026
