FULLY FUNDED TO UNITED KINGDOM: Applications for the Chevening Scholarships 2027/2028 are now open for young Changemakers across the globe
Each year, Chevening awards scholarships to approximately 700 individuals from more than 160 eligible countries and territories, creating a diverse global network of professionals, policymakers, entrepreneurs, researchers, and changemakers.
Ineligible Applicants
The scholarship is not open to:
- British citizens or dual British citizens.
- Individuals who have previously received funding from a UK Government scholarship programme.
- Employees, former employees, or close relatives of employees of the UK Government, British Embassies, or partner organizations, subject to Chevening's official eligibility guidelines.
- Refugees residing in countries that are not eligible for Chevening Scholarships.
Selection Process
Applications undergo a competitive selection process that includes:
- Eligibility screening.
- Independent assessment of leadership potential, networking skills, career aspirations, and study plans.
- Interviews for shortlisted candidates.

- Commit to returning to their home country for at least two years after completing their studies.
