Ineligible Applicants

The scholarship is not open to:

• British citizens or dual British citizens.
• Individuals who have previously received funding from a UK Government scholarship programme.
• Employees, former employees, or close relatives of employees of the UK Government, British Embassies, or partner organizations, subject to Chevening's official eligibility guidelines.
• Refugees residing in countries that are not eligible for Chevening Scholarships.

Selection Process

Applications undergo a competitive selection process that includes:
