FULLY FUNDED TO USA : Apply for the CEGA Fellowship 2025
Low- and middle-income country (LMIC) experts are empowered by the Centre for Effective Global Action (CEGA) to produce reliable evidence on economic development in their own regions (see Global Networks).
With this request, CEGA extends an invitation to researchers from Latin America and sub-Saharan Africa to take part in a demanding four-month research fellowship at the University of California, Berkeley, to be completed during the spring 2025 academic semester (January–May).
This call is restricted to particular subjects and regions.
The program supports fellows in three tracks: displacement, early childhood development, and youth livelihoods.
Displacement fellows will study programs aimed at improving refugee, migrant, and host community families' lives and livelihoods, with a focus on Colombia, Ecuador, Ethiopia, and Uganda.
Early childhood development fellows will study programs supporting good health, nutrition, safety, and early learning for children aged 0-3.
