Thousands of applications are received from all around the world for a small number of fellowships in the World Fellows Program, making admission extremely competitive. Every Fellows cohort is hand-picked to reflect a wide range of skills, backgrounds, cultures, and viewpoints from around the globe.

Applicants must have a record of exceptional achievement, integrity, commitment to positive impact, a future leadership career, critical thinking, and commitment to Yale's rigorous program. The application process is entirely online, with no paper forms or fees. Requirements include a résumé, personal statement, three letters of recommendation, and a video statement.

Greenberg World Fellows Program is a four-month residential program at Yale's International Leadership Center, running annually from mid-August to mid-December.
