The World Bank Group Youth Summit is returning for its 12th edition, inviting young people to address the most pressing challenges their generation faces, while connecting thousands of participants from around the world. This year, the summit will focus on innovation in climate action, digital transformation, and the creative industries.

As the World Bank Group's largest annual event for youth (ages 18-35), the summit will take place on May 19-20, 2025, with activities both at the World Bank Group headquarters in Washington DC and in various regions globally.

The Summit's mission is to:

• Empower youth to develop innovative solutions to development challenges;
• Provide youth with the tools to create and engage in impactful projects; and
• Promote dialogue between youth, the World Bank Group, and other important global stakeholders.

Welcome to the World Bank Group Youth Summit 2024 Pitch Competition, an exciting opportunity for young changemakers to present their innovative solutions to global challenges. Open to individuals aged 18-35 worldwide, this competition offers a dynamic platform to showcase your ideas to a global audience and gain traction for your innovations.

As a flagship event of the WBG Youth Summit, the Pitch Competition highlights the transformative impact of youth-led solutions in shaping a sustainable and inclusive future. It provides a global stage for young entrepreneurs, change-makers, and innovators to share their unique ideas for tackling today's most urgent development challenges.

We invite submissions from diverse backgrounds and areas of focus, with particular interest in addressing the following themes:
