With the theme "Powering Progress: Youth Leading the Digital Transformation," the WBG Youth Summit 2024 shines a spotlight on young people leveraging technology to address developmental hurdles. Aligned with the World Bank's Digital Development Practice, the summit will delve into three key subthemes: Digital Access and Inclusion, Artificial Intelligence, and Sustainable Technology for a Livable Planet.

The summit will prioritize three distinct perspectives on technology: Youth residing in regions affected by Fragility, Conflict, and Violence (FCV), Women in Tech, and Rural Youth. By spotlighting these demographics, the summit aims to showcase pioneering ideas on a global platform that address the digital gap, champion inclusive and sustainable development, and explore the opportunities and challenges inherent in emerging technologies.

The subject of the 2024 WBG Youth Summit is "Powering Progress: Youth Leading the Digital Transformation," which highlights young people using technology to address issues related to development.
