The 2025 World Bank Government Analytics Fellowship Program is now accepting applications. A trailblazing program, the World Bank Government Analytics Fellowship Program aims to close the gap between governments' extensive but underutilised data resources and the possibility of improved public administration efficiency through data-driven decision-making.
The Fellowship is a partnership between the Institute for Economic Development, University College London (UCL), Governance Global Practice (GGP), the Development Impact Group (DIME), and the World Bank Development Economics Vice-Presidency (DEC).

In order to create a Government Analytics project, the fellowship will combine in-person instruction with in-service assistance from senior specialists from the World Bank and University College London.
The six-month fellowship involves a focused full-time commitment for the two weeks of in-person training in Washington, D.C., which includes the course on government analytics and the Public Administration Forum.

- Be available to travel to Washington DC between March 17 and March 27.
- Be nominated by their organization (up to 2 fellows per organization).
- Work in central government organizations, including agencies.
- Hold mid-level managerial or senior analyst roles (or equivalent) with the authority to develop a government analytics project.
- Have completed relevant tertiary-level coursework in statistics or related quantitative methods.
- Be proficient in English.
