Applications are now open for fully funded traineeship opportunities at the European Union Delegation to the OECD and UNESCO in Paris, as well as its representation to the Principalities of Andorra and Monaco. This unique program offers recent graduates the chance to gain practical experience in international diplomacy, multilateral cooperation, and global policy engagement while working within a dynamic European Union mission.
The traineeships are expected to begin between 1 and 15 September 2026 and will run for up to five months. Selected participants will contribute to the Delegation’s work across various sections, supporting activities related to UNESCO, the OECD, external relations, development cooperation, and the Head of Delegation’s Office.
Available Traineeship Positions
Successful applicants may be placed in one of the following areas:
- Head of Delegation Office – OECD
- Head of Delegation Office – UNESCO, Andorra and Monaco
- UNESCO and External Relations Section
- Development Cooperation Section
Key Responsibilities
Trainees will have the opportunity to participate in a range of professional activities, including:
- Assisting with the preparation of European Union meetings and policy discussions
- Attending coordination meetings and drafting reports
- Monitoring and reporting on relevant international meetings and events
- Supporting the organization of conferences, workshops, and diplomatic events
- Conducting research on EU-related policy issues
- Contributing to analytical papers, briefings, and background documents

Additional Information
Selected trainees will receive a monthly grant intended to assist with living expenses during the traineeship period.
