Fully Funded Volunteering in Greece : Apply to join the New E.R.A. | ESC Volunteering Teams

A fantastic opportunity exists for fifteen European volunteers to participate in a one-month volunteer programme at Hopeland, a sustainable seven-acre educational eco-community in southern Greece. Hopeland eco-community is in charge of organising this event, which is made possible by funding from the European Solidarity Corps initiative.

About Hopeland

The educational eco-community of Hopeland is situated in a rural region in southern Greece. The project is being constructed with a great deal of love and mostly natural resources donated by volunteers, tourists, and visitors who have come to and stayed in Hopeland during the past 12 years.

Hopeland's goal is to provide an environment where individuals can create, explore, and learn from the natural world and from one another. Through the Erasmus+ and ESC programmes, Hopeland provides a range of experiential learning opportunities, mostly focused on the areas of environment, community, and personal development. Hopeland extends a warm invitation to educators, young people, and nearby farmers to collaborate with us in advancing our shared vision of a society characterised by a strong sense of community and a commitment to individual, social, and environmental development.

Regarding the voluntary work

Aiming to create a healthy environment that supports positive wellbeing and a healthy lifestyle for local communities, neighbouring networks, and future generations (both local and international), The New E.R.A. is a three-year initiative. It is centred on three goals: physical, mental, and community-centered wellness.

This year, two Volunteering Teams will be located in Hopeland, Greece, and Olde Vechte Foundation, the Netherlands. The teams' purpose is to investigate novel approaches to improve physical wellbeing through experiential learning, outdoor activities, community development, and sustainability. Additionally, the volunteers hope to create a more inclusive society and positively impact the locals in the long run.

Their is No application deadline.
