For the ArtsEquator Fellowship, ArtsEquator is accepting applications from Southeast Asian countries. For journalists and arts critics in the middle of their careers who are producing critical work on Southeast Asian art, the Fellowship is a professional development course.

This fellowship doesn't need any travel because it is conducted remotely. It offers an SGD5,000 stipend for the Fellowship period, which runs from July 1, 2024, to December 31, 2024. Only Southeast Asian critics and arts journalists are eligible to apply.

Our second cycle, which begins in 2024, is concentrated on Southeast Asian theatre, dance, and cinema. The fellows will work on one in-depth essay and five reviews that can be submitted in written, audio, or video media. We are searching for content that provides information about the state of the arts in each of their home nations.
