FULLY FUNDED:Apply For The UNDP Youth4Climate Call for Mentors and Partners 2025

Applications are open for the United Nations Development Programme Youth4Climate Call for Mentors and Partners 2025. This initiative, co-led by the Government of Italy and UNDP, is seeking experienced professionals, organizations, investors, universities, accelerators, and other strategic institutions to support young climate innovators across the world. The programme aims to strengthen youth-led climate action by providing mentorship, technical guidance, networking opportunities, visibility, and strategic collaboration opportunities for emerging climate solutions.  

The Youth4Climate initiative has already supported more than 150 youth-led climate projects across 59 countries with millions of dollars in direct funding, mentorship opportunities, and global exposure. Through this call, the programme hopes to connect young innovators with experienced experts and organizations capable of helping climate projects scale and create sustainable impact in their communities.

Program Benefits
Mentors selected for the programme will have the opportunity to directly support impactful youth-led climate initiatives with real-world potential. Participants will gain access to a global network of climate innovators, UNDP stakeholders, private sector leaders, and ecosystem partners. Mentors may also receive visibility through Youth4Climate media channels and global events. Those who complete at least ten hours of mentorship will receive official certificates recognizing their contributions.

Organizations and institutions joining as partners will benefit from access to innovative climate projects, collaboration opportunities with young changemakers, visibility at major global climate events including COP conferences, and engagement with a growing global youth climate network. The initiative also allows partners to demonstrate their commitment to sustainability, climate action, and youth empowerment while helping scale impactful solutions worldwide.
Eligibility Criteria
The Call for Mentors is open to entrepreneurs, academics, investors, technical experts, corporate leaders, programme managers, and professionals with at least five years of experience in areas connected to climate innovation and sustainable development. Individuals with expertise in climate finance, fundraising, storytelling, advocacy, startup scaling, sustainable energy, food systems, digital innovation, and nature-based solutions are especially encouraged to participate. Mentors are expected to dedicate approximately two hours per month to support youth-led projects through one-on-one mentorship sessions and optional workshops.

The Call for Partners welcomes organizations and institutions such as foundations, accelerators, universities, private sector companies, investors, and social impact organizations interested in supporting youth-led climate action. Partners can contribute through training workshops, mentorship, funding opportunities, technical support, investor showcases, and other collaborative activities aimed at strengthening youth climate innovation ecosystems globally.
