Applications are being accepted for the 2024 Target Gender Equality Accelerator programme by the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC).

This nine-month programme is intended for businesses who want to establish and meet challenging goals related to women's leadership, equal pay, and representation in the workforce. Participating companies can strengthen their contributions to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and expand their application of the Women's Empowerment Principles through peer-to-peer learning, capacity-building workshops, performance analysis, and multi-stakeholder conversation.

In order to achieve SDG 5.5—equal representation, involvement, and leadership of women in business—and SDG 8.5—achieving equitable pay by 2030, firms are encouraged to implement this programme.

Insights and data on gender equality are provided to participants, together with perspectives from UN experts and partners. In order to expedite the implementation of gender equality, they also create workable programmes.
