A trailblazing programme, the World Bank Government Analytics Fellowship Programme aims to close the gap between the government's massive, underutilised data resources and the potential for improved public administration efficiency through data-driven decision-making.

The Fellowship provides cutting edge research and practitioner insights to improve government efficiency, drawing on insights from the Government Analytics Handbook and bolstered by World Bank specialists and scholars.

The World Bank Development Economics Vice-Presidency (DEC) and the Governance Global Practice (GGP) are collaborating on the Fellowship.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates for the Government Analytics Fellowship must meet certain requirements: they must be fluent in English, work in key government agencies, have been nominated by their organisations, and be in Washington, DC, between May 27 and June 7.

Application Procedure

Details about the Application: Applications are accepted through March 31st. The following must be submitted in English by all applicants:

a thorough CV (no more than three pages), emphasising your education and experience that are relevant.
a 150-word synopsis of how you plan to use the knowledge obtained from a government analytics project to improve the way your company operates.
a letter of recommendation from your company verifying your status and recommending you for the fellowship.
