Funding : Apply for the Forest Governance Markets and Climate (FGMC2) Programme

The Forest Governance, Markets, and Climate (FGMC) program is the leading global forest governance initiative of the Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Office (FCDO).

FGMC2 will work to improve governance underpinnings that result in less illicit and unsustainable use of forest resources, which will help impoverished individuals who depend on forests, particularly Indigenous People and Local Communities (IPLCs).

Geographic Focus
The FGMC2 initiative seeks to establish forest governance collaborations with as many as 16 tropical forest nations, as outlined in the Business Case.

During this initial round of funding, they are interested in proposals that foster partnerships across countries including Guyana, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Indonesia, Vietnam, Laos, China, Ghana, Liberia, Cameroon, Republic of Congo, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Proposals aimed at shaping and influencing global processes are also encouraged.

Don't miss out on the application deadline which is  18-Apr-25.
