Targeting climate action, the CC Facility provides grant financing and acceleration support to expedite the introduction and expansion of blended finance structures.

Grant Funding: Funding based on performance is awarded subject to the fulfilment of particular objectives and benchmarks intended to remove obstacles to the mobilisation of private investments. Offerings from this project include access to the Learning Hub for knowledge-sharing, grant money of up to $500k, and personalised technical support.
Acceleration Support: Tailored technical support lasting 12 to 18 months makes sure structures are ready for market implementation by concentrating on strategy, funding, and operational support.

Investment Theme: Climate adaptation and/or mitigation must be the main priorities of structures.
Geography: The activities must take place in poor nations, and local applicants who show a sophisticated grasp of the local contexts will be given priority.
Stage: Applicants should have structures that are ready for the market, have undergone viability testing, and are ready for introduction and expansion.
Entity Type: Private companies, money managers, advisory firms, foundations, and not-for-profits are among the eligible organisations. It is not permitted for public organisations, including UN agencies and development financing institutions, to be the primary grantee or applicant.
