FUNDING : Apply for the Global Grant Initiative to Fund 100 Youth-Led Projects Globally

“Going Together – For Youth Creativity and Well-Being”, the Global Youth Grant Scheme with UNESCO and K-pop group SEVENTEEN, will fund 100 youth-led action projects worldwide.

An effort called "Going Together - For Youth Creativity & Well-Being" is being carried out by Pledis Entertainment, Seventeen, and UNESCO with the goal of fostering the growth of young people's ideas and helping to address issues that impact the development and well-being of youth and their communities. As so, it gives them the tools and know-how required to carry out creative projects that benefit society in their local communities.

Objectives:

The initiative aims to:

- Empower young individuals by building their skills and offering platforms to turn their ideas into impactful social actions.
- Connect youth with role models, creating opportunities for meaningful engagement with youth-focused leaders.
- Involve young people in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), making them active contributors to global solutions.
- Provide resources to support young people in developing and executing their innovative projects.

Project Implementation:

Projects eligible for this initiative should be capable of being executed within nine months, starting from the notification of their selection.

Program Benefits
Each project participating in the program will receive funding between USD 5,000 and USD 10,000, depending on the availability of funds, which will be disbursed in three separate installments.
Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility Criteria:

- Age and Identification: Participants should identify as "youth" and be between 18 to 30 years old throughout the entire Grant Scheme period.

- Community Engagement: They must be actively involved in their communities, either on an individual basis or as part of organizations, associations, networks, or social enterprises.

Criteria for Youth-Led Projects:

- Scope: Projects must align with one of the following:
- New youth initiatives that support and enhance youth well-being and community-building, requiring seed funding.
- Ongoing projects focused on youth well-being and community-building, demonstrating proven social impact and requiring additional support.
- Existing projects with demonstrated social impact that need scaling up.

- Implementation Period: Projects must be implementable within nine months.

- Geographic Scope: The projects should have either a local or national focus.

- Team Requirements: The initiative should be led by a team of at least three young individuals, with a clearly designated project leader.

Participation of Organizations:

- Youth-led organizations, associations, networks, or enterprises that address the themes outlined in Article 5 are also eligible. Applications must be submitted by a young representative (within the specified age range) who will engage in the “GOING TOGETHER – For Youth Creativity and Well-being” program on behalf of their organization.

Language: The working language for the entire initiative is English. All project proposals and communications with organizers and mentors will be conducted in English unless an alternative arrangement is agreed upon.

**Exclusions:** Young individuals currently employed by UNESCO or Pledis Entertainment are not eligible to apply.
