Applications are open for the UNICEF Venture Fund for Health Tech Startups 2023.
In order to dramatically enhance children's physical and emotional well-being, the UNICEF Venture Fund is looking to invest in innovative, open-source technical solutions. With equity-free funding of up to US$100,000, UNICEF supports for-profit, early-stage digital startups that aim to improve the lives of children.
If your company uses emerging technologies such as drones, blockchain, artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), data science (DS), or extended reality (XR), UNISEF wants to hear from you. The main things we are searching for are companies who have their headquarters located in a nation where UNICEF operates, impressive working prototypes, and a commitment to open source licensing.
Application:
Only applications that adhere to the provided guidelines, including all required information submitted via the application form, will be considered.
Don't miss the application deadline, which is 20th November 2023.
Additional Information
- Projects that build new technology while extending or enhancing currently available platforms (i.e., taking place in an environment where the technology is in use)
- Initiatives that develop new uses for technology already in use and test new applications for it (i.e., little to no new technology will be developed and it will be used in the same area).
