AfOx Catalyst Grants offer start-up money to foster the growth of collaborative research between scholars located at the University of Oxford and African research institutions .All fields are eligible for Catalyst Grants. We have given out more than 200 Catalyst Grants in the previous five years, and these grants have helped to launch fresh partnerships between scholars from more than 100 African universities and more than 50 Oxford Departments.

The Ashmolean Museum, Oxford University Press, and the greatest academic library system are all run by Oxford, the oldest university in the world. Among its distinguished graduates include Nobel laureates, Fields Medalists, and Turing Award winners, as well as 30 UK prime leaders. The Rhodes Scholarship is one of the many scholarships available at Oxford. AfOx makes it easier for Oxford and African universities to collaborate fairly.
