Grant Opportunity for Youth-Led Initiatives in Africa and Europe

Youth-driven organizations and grassroots groups now have a chance to secure funding through the AU-EU Youth Voices Lab – Power of the Collective. This initiative, under the Youth Voices Third-Party-Funding Mechanism (YV-TPFM), is designed to support projects that empower young people and drive social change in Cameroon, Burundi, South Sudan, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Tunisia, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Ghana, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Burkina Faso, and Belgium.

This funding is available to youth-led organizations that work to amplify the perspectives of marginalized young people and challenge exclusionary practices at local, national, and international levels. Eligible projects should focus on ensuring that underrepresented youth have a say in decision-making, advocating for policy reforms, and strengthening youth-led advocacy networks.

Groups that seek to engage with policymakers and institutions to influence programs, policies, and governance structures are encouraged to apply. Additionally, initiatives that foster collaboration between African youth and the diaspora to promote cross-border engagement and solidarity will be prioritized.

If your organization operates in one of the specified countries and aligns with these goals, this funding opportunity can help expand your impact. Take this chance to advance youth-driven advocacy and contribute to shaping policies that reflect young people’s priorities.
