The Ashinaga Foundation, a Japan-based international non-profit organization, is accepting applications for its Spring/Summer 2026 Internship Program. The program offers students and recent graduates the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the social impact sector while contributing to global efforts to expand educational access for young people affected by parental loss or disability.
Ashinaga has a long-standing mission of providing both financial assistance and emotional support to orphaned students and those from vulnerable family backgrounds across the world.
About the Internship
Interns will work within a multicultural and international team, supporting initiatives under the Ashinaga Africa Initiative (AAI) and Japan-based student programs. The internship is designed to build practical skills, professional confidence, and global networks in the non-profit and development sector.
Positions are available across several functional areas, including:

Administrative and project assistance
Interns based outside Japan will participate fully remotely, while those living in the Tokyo Metropolitan Area may choose in-person, hybrid, or remote arrangements.

Please note that the Ashinaga Foundation does not provide visa sponsorship, accommodation, or travel support. Applicants without plans to remain in Tokyo during the internship period are encouraged to apply for remote roles.
