Salary: £45,700 - £48,000 per annum

The Role:

As a Specialist in Waste and Recycling Policy, you will be integral in helping to shape the development of waste management policies that create lasting, positive environmental impacts. Working within WRAP’s Policy and Insights team, you will collaborate with government stakeholders, businesses, and local authorities to drive policy measures that improve recycling practices and waste management across sectors.

Key responsibilities include:

• Policy Design and Advocacy: Work with government and other stakeholders to design waste management policies that foster environmental and financial benefits.
• Project Management: Lead and manage waste-related projects, ensuring successful delivery and the development of new policies.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with technical experts, analysts, and project teams to deliver the best outcomes for WRAP’s government funders.
• Communication: Translate complex waste management and recycling challenges into impactful policy advice and initiatives, making the case for change in a clear, compelling way.
