The iF Social Impact Prize, which supports initiatives that advance society, is currently accepting submissions.
Your project qualifies if it aims to accomplish one or more of the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations.
Categories
All submissions should align with the 15 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):
No Poverty:
While extreme poverty rates have been halved since 1990, one in five people in developing regions still live on less than $1.90 a day.
Zero Hunger:
To nourish today's population, we need to rethink how we grow, share, and consume food.
Good Health and Well-Being:
Ensuring healthy lives is crucial for sustainable development, and more efforts are needed to raise life expectancy.
Quality Education:
Basic literacy skills have seen significant improvement, but achieving universal education goals requires bolder efforts.
Gender Equality:
Achieving equality for women and girls is a fundamental human right that will fuel sustainable economies and benefit societies as a whole.
Clean Water and Sanitation:
Millions die from diseases linked to inadequate water supply, sanitation, and hygiene due to poor infrastructure.
Affordable and Clean Energy:
The aim is to provide universal access to modern energy services, improve efficiency, and increase the use of renewable energy sources.
Decent Work and Economic Growth:
Creating quality jobs will remain a significant challenge for nearly all economies well into the future.
Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure
Technology and innovation are essential for industrialization, which is a cornerstone of development.
Reduced Inequalities:
To reduce inequality, policies must be universal and attentive to the needs of disadvantaged and marginalized populations.
Sustainable Cities and Communities:
Cities can advance social and economic progress, but many face challenges like congestion, inadequate housing, and declining infrastructure.
Responsible Consumption and Production:
This goal aims to "do more and better with less," improving resource and energy efficiency and ensuring a better quality of life for all.
Climate Action:
Climate change affects every country and continent, disrupting national economies and impacting lives.
Life Below Water:
Careful management of oceans and marine resources is vital for a sustainable future.
Life on Land:
Forests, which cover 30% of the Earth's surface, are crucial for combating climate change, protecting biodiversity, and supporting indigenous populations.

Additional Information
Prize Money: A portion of EUR 100,000 in prize money will be awarded to your proposal.
Your Project: The jury's chosen projects will be shown for an indefinite amount of time on the iF Design website.
Communication Support: The media, the general public, and the international design community will be made aware of the projects that the jury has chosen.
Winner Certificate: Each project that the jury chooses is given a unique Winner Certificate.
Updates: You can add the newest images, videos, or news to your project.
Concepts from students cannot be accepted.
