INNOVATION CHALLENGE: Apply for UNICEF 2025 Climate Innovation Challenge

Selected startups will benefit from more than ten hours of dedicated mentorship from UNICEF and its partners, providing expert guidance on scaling and strengthening their innovations. They will also receive targeted technical support to unlock future investment opportunities and gain a platform to present their solutions to international partners, funders, and stakeholders. This exposure will not only increase visibility but also open doors for long-term collaborations and sustainable growth.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must be private, for-profit companies legally registered in UNICEF programme countries. The solutions proposed should be open source or the applicant must be willing to open source them. Strong preference will be given to companies addressing climate-driven health challenges through innovative technology such as artificial intelligence, blockchain, or data science. The program especially encourages applications from women-led and youth-led startups (where founders are under the age of 35). Applicants must be in the early- or growth-stage, with a clear business model and a solution that is scalable and adaptable across diverse contexts.
