Program Benefits

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the African Development Bank Internship Program, applicants must be nationals of one of the Bank’s member countries and must be currently enrolled in a master’s-level program or have recently completed their degree. Candidates are expected to demonstrate strong academic performance and a clear interest in development-related fields that align with the Bank’s work. The program seeks individuals who are fluent in either English or French, as these are the primary working languages of the institution, and who possess strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills. Applicants should also be able to adapt to a multicultural work environment and demonstrate a commitment to contributing to Africa’s development agenda through innovative and impactful work.
