About the Global Water Partnership

The Global Water Partnership is an international action network dedicated to strengthening water governance and promoting climate-resilient investments in water systems. Through collaboration with governments, civil society, development agencies, research institutions, and the private sector, GWP works to advance sustainable and equitable water management solutions.

The network brings together over 2,800 partner organizations worldwide and operates through regional and country partnerships that support practical action on water security, climate adaptation, resilience building, and sustainable development.

The Global Water Partnership Organisation (GWPO), an intergovernmental organization, provides strategic leadership and coordination for the partnership’s global activities.
