BRAC is calling for applicants for the role of Executive Director in Europe ( £100,000 Salary)

Located in Bangladesh, BRAC is an international development organization. In terms of personnel as of September 2016, BRAC is the largest non-governmental development organization globally. BRAC was founded in all 64 districts of Bangladesh and sixteen other countries in Asia, Africa, and the Americas. It was founded by Sir Fazle Hasan Abed in 1972, following Bangladesh's independence.

According to BRAC, it provides services to over 126 million people and employs over 90,000 people, of whom almost 70% are women. The organization receives funding in part from its many social enterprises, which include a network of retail handicraft stores named Aarong, seed and Agro, and chicken, as well as a dairy and food initiative.

BRAC's London office, established in 2006, supports European partnerships and global advocacy on poverty issues. The role of Executive Director, Europe, involves leading and developing the BRAC team, working closely with global leadership. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of development issues, successful partnerships, and networking skills at senior leadership and political levels.
