Oxfam’s Global Humanitarian Team (GHT) seeks a Humanitarian Support Personnel - Public Health Promotion to collaborate with country teams and national and international partners.

The role involves leading Public Health Promotion (PHP) teams, engaging communities in WASH resource management, ensuring safety, equity, and cultural appropriateness. The position entails deployments lasting between six weeks and up to six months, with terms of reference negotiated beforehand, often in rapidly evolving emergencies or challenging operational environments requiring swift program and capacity development.

Eligibility Criteria
A graduate degree, or its equivalent, in one of the following fields: community development, anthropology, environmental or public health, or the social sciences.
substantial professional experience in a variety of emergency scenarios and in different nations.
Capacity to perform well under pressure in a leadership capacity during emergencies.
Capacity to engage communities in a participative manner.
a track record of success working in multidisciplinary teams and influencing and collaborating with individuals from a variety of backgrounds.
strong analytical, planning, and assessment abilities.
Strong persuasion abilities, particularly when interacting with GHT advisers and managers as well as national and regional management teams.
With a strong dedication to Oxfam and humanitarian ideals, the ability to work cooperatively, supportively, and politely in multi-cultural teams, as well as good networking abilities, are essential.
