Job Opportunity :Rain Forest Alliance is hiring LandScale Programme Officers from multiple locations

The Rainforest Alliance and Conservation International are co-leaders of LandScale, an innovative worldwide programme that strives to promote sustainability at the landscape scale. LandScale provides an integrated system that includes a thorough sustainability assessment methodology, comprehensive guidelines, an online platform, and a validation process in order to accomplish this task of evaluating and disseminating reliable information about landscape sustainability.

Any organisation that organises, conducts, or finances efforts to enhance sustainability at the landscape scale is eligible to use the LandScale system. The initiative aims to show that the data produced by LandScale assessments can serve as the foundation for novel market, financial, and policy mechanisms (such as sustainability-linked loans, ecosystem service payments, and preferential sourcing) that can encourage the actions required to achieve sustainability improvements at the landscape scale. This is in addition to scaling up the use of the LandScale system. The LandScale is evolving.

To support the delivery of LandScale's assessment and claims validation, training, and related services, we are looking for a highly organised, meticulous, and cooperative sustainability specialist with experience in communications, particularly writing and editing. The role will involve producing comprehensible and interesting technical guidance documents and platform content. He or she will be essential in making sure that the LandScale system is easy to use, focused on providing excellent customer service, and appeals to our target market.

Helping LandScale users create compelling content, writing instructions for the platform, offering technical help, and locating data tools for validation are all part of the job description. In addition, they assist with creating video training materials, gather and examine user input, and speak on behalf of LandScale at stakeholder meetings. As needed, more tasks may be allocated.

Diversity and inclusivity are promoted across the global organisation of the Rainforest Alliance. We are pleased to be an equal opportunity employer with this dedication to diversity, and we don't discriminate against anyone based on their gender, race, colour, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, handicap, or any other protected group.
