The New Earth Foundation provides grants to projects that promote wellness and peace on Earth. NEF welcomes Letters of Inquiry and invites Grant Applications based on the following criteria:

- The project aligns with NEF’s Vision and Mission (see Home Page).
- It is innovative, new, pioneering, or even ingenious.
- It transforms a societal aspect and offers practical solutions.
- It addresses a significant and ongoing need.
- It presents a specific initiative with clearly defined goals, an implementation plan, and expected outcomes.
- It identifies the beneficiaries and how they will be impacted.
- It involves those being served in the planning process.
- It includes plans for replication to expand the benefits.
- It has an evaluation process to assess success, progress, and inform future decisions.
- It encourages community involvement and/or collaboration with other organizations.
- It is cost-effective, featuring a realistic budget that appropriately balances administrative costs and benefits to participants.
- It outlines a strategy for securing future funding from other sources.
- It has qualified staff or volunteers to implement the project, with their qualifications clearly stated.
- It provides images of models/examples and commits to sharing updates on project progress and completion.
