Context:
This initiative aligns with Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) 4 and 6, focusing on education and clean water access. In Africa, particularly Zimbabwe, challenges like poverty, gender inequality, and COVID-19 have led to increased illiteracy rates. Concurrently, climate change and pollution have heightened the demand for clean water. Addressing these issues is crucial.

Assignment:
Volunteers will amplify awareness by creating and sharing content on platforms like YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook. They will collaborate with the Simuka Africa Social Media Team to enhance the online presence and contribute to SDGs 4 & 6.

Task Description:
Identify and manage effective social media channels to promote Digital Literacy and Clean Water for Autumn and Holiday Fundraising Campaigns. Create content showcasing the impact of literacy, computer proficiency, and clean water on humanitarian efforts.

Experience Needed:
Effective communication, social media management, and public relations skills are essential. Volunteers with experience in social media campaigns and Canva graphic design are preferred. Basic technical skills relevant to Artificial Intelligence (AI) volunteering may include proficiency in Python, understanding of machine learning, data analysis abilities, and familiarity with AI frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch. A curious and adaptable mindset is a plus."
