The UNDP Unit of Information and Technology Management (ITM) in Copenhagen is in charge of providing ICT and green energy solutions to UNDP Country Offices across the globe.
The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is its development arm. With approximately 17,000 employees and a presence in 170 countries, UNDP addresses the major global issues of extreme poverty, climate change, good governance, renewable energy, crisis prevention, and women's empowerment, among other issues.
The goal of UNDP's digital transformation is to strengthen the organization's capacity to take advantage of new and emerging digital technologies as well as the opportunities they present to significantly enhance the organization's ability to produce and deliver value.
Workstreams with the following capabilities are available: Business Operations, IoT Operations Support, Cloud Services Engineer, Software Developer, ICT Engineer, Communication and Collaboration Engineer, Business Intelligence & Systems, Business Development Support, International Nature and Climate Specialist.
Additional Information
be enrolled in a first university degree program's last year of study (undergraduate, minimum bachelor's degree or equivalent); or
possess a college degree (first, second, or above), and if chosen, the internship must start within a year of graduation.
Desirable is interest in or experience with one of the workstream areas.
