Paid Internship : Apply for the United Nations University Junior Fellows Internship ,with a funded trip to japan

Highly qualified candidates are sought after by the Office of the Rector at the United Nations University to serve as Junior Fellows at the UNU headquarters in Tokyo. Twice a year, a competitive application process is used to choose Junior Fellows. Graduate students are invited to apply if they are interested in the activities of the UN, especially UNU.

The Office of the Rector's Junior Fellows Internship Programme is based on the fundamental ideas of providing graduate students and young professionals with an engaging, demanding, and fulfilling experience. The work of the UN system as a whole, the UN University, and the Office of the Rector will all benefit from the selection of successful applicants. The programme offers chances to pick up new abilities, and it's a special, productive environment for putting graduate-level information and skills to use in real-world situations.

The training, direction, and practical experience that are the cornerstones of a fruitful and successful internship are highly valued in the programme. Junior fellows begin the course with a one-week orientation aimed at acquainting them with UNU, their coworkers, the facilities, and the workings of the Office of the Rector. Candidates hoping to work for the UN will also benefit from the information and real-world experience obtained. Junior fellows at the Office of the Rector can anticipate meaningfully supporting UNU's mission while gaining invaluable professional experience.

The Office of the Rector's Junior Fellows Internship Programme seeks to support UNU's initiatives, introduce young academics and professionals to one another, give them practical experience, and introduce them to administrative work.

The programme is chosen twice a year, with some flexibility for remote work. The majority of the work is done on-site at UNU Tokyo.

Junior Fellows are employed by the University full-time, with regular hours of 9:30 to 17:30 and one and a half days off per month. For on-site work, they have access to internet and office space, and they receive a monthly stipend to help with living expenses. They can assist in planning conferences, seminars, and academic forums. They can also use the gym and library.

Don't miss out on the application deadline which is 10 May 2024.
